Our Story

Dawn Jordan (Djoir) was a competitive athlete in gymnastics, and she always had a deep passion for staying active and living a healthy life. Between cheerleading, playing sports, training in all kinds of dance, and touring the world as a recording artist, she loved to move her body and challenge herself in different ways to stay in shape. With a deep passion and love for helping others, Dawn became a sports coach and personal trainer after many years of training and competing as an accomplished athlete. With over 19 years of experience coaching and training children and adults of all ages and fitness levels, Dawn developed the MixieFit method.

It was Mother’s Day, 2019, when everything changed. Dawn’s mom was hit by a drunk driver while sitting and parked in her car. As she rushed to the hospital and watched her mom struggled for her life in the ICU, the Doctors said it was a miracle she lived through such a horrific accident. Dawn believes that one of the primary reasons why she survived this unexpected trauma to her entire body was because her mom was active and healthy all her life. Through this experience, she decided to take her method and share it with the world. The MixieFit process combines everything Dawn has learned over the years into a workout regiment that gets results.

The mix of classes meets you where you’re at today, providing you with modifications to fit each live workout and your personal needs. As a certified trainer, Dawn offers MixieFit services online and in-person. These services include group classes, personal training, and corporate events teaching various styles in; reformer pilates, mat pilates, low impact total body training, TRX, circuit, cycle, HIIT, barre, rowing, dance, cheerleading, acro gymnastics, and more.
